3D study of the Rhone dilution area based on 2 grids of 24 stations 5 miles apart (see map) for measuring currents, hydrology, biogeochemistry and biology and in the context of well identified wind and Rhone outflow conditions. Studying diversity and distribution of microbial and zooplankton populations linked to biogeochemical processes of regeneration and nitrogen and carbon consumption along an East-West gradient of 6 stations. This falls under the PNEC project, Gulf of Lions worksite. |
