Objective Perfecting methods to estimate the abundance of juvenile pelagic fish in surface and/or coastal waters (for which the acoustic techniques usually employed reach the limits of their effectiveness) based on using an airborne laser antenna from a plane. Comparing the acoustic measurements acquired using shipborne equipment and those from the airborne laser will enable the limits of use for each of these technologies to be determined. This is related to the JUVESU project.
