Objective | OISO (Indian Ocean Observation Service) has been INSU-approved since July 1997 and brings together 3 laboratories of IPSL (Institut Pierre Simon Laplace): LPCM, LODYC and LSCE. The programme aims to study variability of the ocean CO2 cycle over time and space in subtropical, sub-Antarctic and Southern ocean zones. All cruises (2 per year) are scheduled in the South West Indian Ocean sector, following the repeated courses taken by RV Marion Dufresne II. |
