Objectif Étude de la variabilité hydrologique de surface (échanges Pacifique/Océan Indien) et de l'histoire de la mousson indonésienne au cours des derniers 150000 ans ; Étude des conditions hydrologiques de l'Océan Indien Equatorial depuis le néogène ; Étude de la variabilité du Kuroshio au cours du pleistocène ; Évolution tectonique de la Mer de Banda. Le projet de rattachement est le programme international IMAGES (IGBP/PAGES).
