Objectif -Évaluation du niveau du recrutement (juvéniles) des espèces de poissons commerciaux exploités en mer du Nord(morue, merlan, églefin, tacaud norvégien, hareng, sprat, maquereau) en collaboration avec les pays riverains de la mer du Nord ; -Étude des variations intra-annuelles des principaux stocks ; -Échantillonnage préliminaire des juvéniles de poissons dans le Sud de la mer du Nord ; -Échantillonnage des larves de hareng (calcul de l'indice larvaire) ; -Échointégration en cours de chalutage pour une meilleure précision de l'estimation d'abondance par chalutage de fond (étude expérimentale) ; -Étude des macro-déchets et des effets biologiques des contaminants en mer du Nord. Le projet de rattachement est le programme "International Bottom Trawl Survey" coordonné par le CIEM (Conseil International pour l'Exploration de la Mer).
