Objective Understanding and predicting increase in production and export in the frontal zone: Determining the physical variables and dynamics which maintain the geostrophic front: Density and current fields and their evolution on time-scale of a few days, in order to correctly remove the potential vorticity and the deformation field on the scale of a meander. These observations will be used to determine the secondary circulation and spatial variations on the sub-mesoscale of the vertical velocity constant. Characterization of the primary and secondary levels of the ecosystem/ nutrilite inputs depending on secondary circulation, changes in composition and abundance in the different parts of the jet and on its edges, etc.
