Objective Sedifan 1 with Sedifan 2 are two cruises carried out on the celtic margin in the framework of the ENAM II European program (European North Atlantic Margin : quantification and modelling of large-scale sedimentary processes and fluxes in relation to the variability of oceanic and cryospheric processes). The objectif of Sedifan cruises was the survey of a turbidite accumulation deposited at the mouth of two main systems of converging canyons, around 4000 m of water depth : the Whittard system to the west and the Shamrock system to the East. Complete data set including EM 12D bathymetric data and acoustic imagery, 6-channel high and very high resolution (Pasisar) seismic reflection profiles, hull-mounted and deep-towed 3.5KHz profiles, SAR side SCAN sonograms and piston cores were collected.
