Objective Study of exchanges at the water-sediment interface and of pelagic-benthic coupling. Quantification of vertical transfers of organic matter. Studying the coastal system's contribution to the carbon cycle and related elements (especially nitrogen). This falls under the National coastal oceanography programme(PNOC).
