Objective	Comprehensive mapping of an area located between latitudes N57 and N54.5, bounded in longitude by depths of 900-2,100 m, covering deep-sea fishing grounds (between 1000 and 2000m of depth) in the Northeastern Atlantic (Cartopep). This was a mission to prepare the future PROSPEC1 cruise by RV Thalassa to study deep-sea communities at depths between 1,000 and 2,000 metres. This project was co-financed by the European regional development fund. (A. Normand, et coll. Cartography for part of the Scottish margin.
