Objective Long-term time series to study physical, chemical and biological processes controlling how fluxes of matter evolve. The programme began in 1990 and the DYFAMED/PAPADOC cruises mostly took place aboard RV TETHYS II and sometimes aboard RV GEORGES PETIT (from 1993 on, after the decommissioning of vessels Catherine Laurence and du Korotneff). This part of the France/JGOFS programme.
