Objective KERFIX/ANTARFIX project: proposing continuous monitoring of measurements for parameters linked to the carbon cycle in the Southern Ocean. Scientific objectives: observing and parametrizing the seasonal and interannual variability of various fluxes (fluxes of gas, carbon and related elements) and sedimentation processes (Head scientist: C. JEANDEL). ANTARES 2 project: Studying the processes which control fluxes of matter in the different sub-systems of the Southern Ocean, in summer in the southern hemisphere (Head scientist: Guy JACQUES).
