| Objective | The first objective of this mission was to survey the boundaries of zones with Haploops surveyed by Axel Erhold during the REBENT cruises offshore from the Glénan islands and in the Bay of Vilaine. The mission was carried out in close collaboration with Dr Stanislas Dubois who studies the biology of these organisms. The second objective was to examine any possible relations existing between Haploops colonies and the existence of numerous pockmarks in these areas. This cruise was associated with the DYSCO and REBENT projects. |
