Objective Study of exchanges at the water-sediment interface and of pelagic-benthic coupling. Studying the coastal system's contribution to the carbon cycle and related elements (especially nitrogen) and studying the fate of anthropogenic inputs to the sea. In particular, seeking to know if organic material is predominantly consumed and trapped on site or if there is significant exporting of OM.
