Summary of measurements |
- -Multi-parameter SBE25 probe for continuous measurement of the following parameters: temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, fluorescence, PAR irradiance depending on depth.
-Cimel 3-channel radiometer for interpretation of satellite images; 3 to 4 measurements on a plate painted white then 10 measurements taken 3 m above the water. -Spectron SE-590 256-channel spectroradiometer equipped with 3 m of fibre optics to study ocean colour and interpret satellite images. -2 measurements on (standard) white spectralon target, 3 measurements approximately 10 cm above the water, 3 measurements between 2 cm and 10 cm below water surface, 1 measure with the fibre optic cable (darkest part) turned towards blue sky. -Filtration ramp to measure seston concentrations at all stations. -Filtration ramp to measure phytoplankton and bacterial concentrations.
