Objective Long-term monitoring of hydrological and biogeochemical conditions in the Gulf of Lion, in the framework of the PNOC national coastal oceanography programme. 2 legs from shore to offshore located at the entrance and exit of the margin are studied every 2 months. Fluxes of matter are measured using 7 moored particle traps distributed over 3 sites. The mooring lines are upgraded every 6 months. The related project is PNOC/ "CHANTIER MEDITERRANEE".
