Objective This was the fourth cruise in the international CONFLUENCE programme. The cruise's objectives were: 5 classic current meter moorings, 2 moorings with ADCP at top, 2 moorings of tidal gauges, CTD trials with the new 24-bottle rosette, taking 8 core samples and plankton net hauls.
