Objective Component of the GUINESS (French acronym for Guinea - environment, sediment and stability) programme which is a joint project of IFREMER and ELF AQUITAINE PRODUCTION (E.A.P.). Regional bathymetric survey, with RV L'Atalante, of a few sectors in the Gulf of Guinea, between 200 and 3,000 m. See Ifremer Contract no 92/2210361/YC. Confidentiality: 4 years after study is complete.
