Objective Studies of shore to offshore exchanges in the south Gironde and Plateau des Landes sectors of the Bay of Biscay. Measuring salinity and its stratification near the surface and monitoring of surface salinity by airborne measurements (CAROLS); air-sea exchanges; sea states. This was related to the EPIGRAM (LEFE and ANR), CAROLS (TOSCA/CNES) and SMOS (CNES, ESA) projects.
