Objectif Après de nombreuses campagnes d'exploration régionale (SAME, 1986; PRENICE, 1987; CASANICE, 1989), il s'agissait ici de calibrer, sur des points ciblés parfaitement circonscrits et identifiés, les carottages et les données géophysiques disponibles à l'aide d'observations directes du fond de la mer (CYANA) et de mesures physiques in situ (Module géotechnique). Cette campagne fait partie intégrante du programme de recherche développé depuis 1988 par l'IFREMER afin d'identifier, cartographier et comprendre les processus d'instabilités sédimentaires affectant les pentes sous-marines, notamment au large de Nice.
