Objective	The VICOMED 2 cruise was able to re-utilise most of the stations studied during the VICOMED 1 cruise, firstly in order to check if the homogenisation of the water column in the winter period was accompanied by homogenisation of isotope parameters and secondly to inventory the populations of organisms (microfauna and nanoflora) in the Mediterranean in late winter. The core samples taken completed the coverage of all Mediterranean basins.

-Successive casts of 100L Goflo bottles to extract total dissolved CO2 to analyse 14C activity.
-Hydrology: T-S measurements with Guideline 0-6,000 probe combined with a rosette of 8L Niskin bottles to take water samples.
