Objective Multidisciplinary study (physics, geology, biology and radio-ecology) of the international zone of radioactive waste located in the North-East Atlantic between 45 50'N and 46 10'N and 16 00'W and 17 30'W. Note: some of the moorings were deployed during EPICEA 2 (1st part) aboard RV LE SUROIT in March 1988 and CTDs deployed during TRANSEPICEA aboard RV LE NOROIT.
