Objective Studying a segment of a slow-spreading ridge and its intersection with the large MARK fracture zone, Mid Atlantic Ridge to the south of the Kane fracture. Characterising the Snake Pit hydrothermal active vent field, in its structural context. Exploring the Western wall of the axial valley and the massif of the intersection with the Kane fracture to understand the processes of the outcropping of deep rocks.
