Objective The general objectives of EQUAMARGE II were: 1) create a Seabeam-type map on limited areas in order to prepare the dives; 2) study the details of some sectors of transform margins and fracture zones resulting from an initial transform movement. The chosen objects were 2 sectors of the southern Guinea margin, 3 sectors of the Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana margin and 1 segment of the active portion of the Romanche fracture zone. Navigation was performed by a GPS system (12h) and transit.
