Objective	Mapping hard bottoms of the French Guyana continental shelf. These biotopes are favourable for the presence of tropical red snapper. Using experimental catches (trawl hauls) to assess how rich these seabeds are in red fish (Lutjanidae). Performing fine-scale biological studies on the main commercial species.

Summary of measurements	-Mapping with the echosounder and satellite navigation at the position of 15-, 30-, 40-, 50-, 60-, 70-, 90-metre isobaths (over the entire zone), and 80- and 150-m isobaths (only in the east of the zone). -52 trawl hauls at seabed depths between 40 and 120 metres. -Analysis of catches.
