| Objective | Assessing to what extent the sedimentary particles transiting from the Rhone river system to deep sea zones are vectors of pollution. With this aim, trying to identify the hydrological structures and characterise the associated particles and to measure the variability of their compensation over space and time. Samples are taken at various levels following a predetermined grid and repeat samples taken at a point located near the mouth, by spot samples and by particle traps in order to meet this objective. The related project is ECOMARGE. |
