Objectif Etude, in situ, de la naissance et de l'évolution d'une marge stable à mesure que s'éloignent deux continents (Terre Neuve et Galice) et que se développe entre eux un nouvel océan (l'Atlantique Nord). Objectifs spécifiques : Compléter l'information sur l'histoire initiale de la marge au Jurassique supérieur (-150 millions d'années) ; Etudier le socle cristallin de la marge dans sa partie la plus profonde c'est à dire à l'endroit où il passe à la croute océanique de l'Atlantique.
