- -Neil Brown CTD probe: recording of 69 temperature, conductivity and pressure profiles of which 24 deep (1900 to 5200m), 22 intermediate (1,200 to 2,100m) and 23 surface (150 to 600m).
-750 12-litre bottles sampled using the rosette (direct measurements of 14 parameters and measurements of other parameters on board and ashore).
-28 casts composed of 8 bottles of 100l, 3 bottles of 30l, 2 bottles of 12l, 6 of which are deep (2,250 to 4,000m) and other parameters on board and on land.
-28 casts composed of bottles (8-100l), (3-30l), (2-12l of which 6 deep (2,250 to 4,000m), 6 intermediate (1,500 to 1,550m) and 16 surface (300 to 1,500m).
-6 casts at about 1,000m composed of 3 bottles of 30l and 2 bottles of 12l.
-22 surface samples (about 5m using a 30l Niskin bottle for measuring primary production).
-Recovery of two submerged tide gauges in July 84.
-Plankton sampling.
-Test of a sediment trap.
