Objective This cruise is the first of the "Deep Environment: Impact" programme, the aim of which is to understand the biological, sedimentological and physical mechanisms involved in the transfer of material and energy in the deep environment. During this cruise (located on the Terrace of Meriadzek), the following were studied: vertical particle flow, the poorly mobile megafauna, the carnivore-secrophagous stage and surface primary production.
