Objective Study and inventory of the main stocks of herring and gadidae in the North Sea; recruitment estimates to be used by international working groups charged with proposing maximum allowable catches each year. The juvenile gadidae inventory cruise has been extended to the west of Scotland as part of a bilateral collaboration with Scotland.
