Objective Contribute to understanding how: 1) environmental factors (physical, chemical and biological structure of the water column, ice covering, bathymetry, weather conditions) influence pelagic diversity and the distribution of key species and 2)the production time series and spatial dynamics of plankton affect distribution patterns of ichthyological populations and their recruitment. This falls under the ICOTA project.
