Objective French contribution to the international BIOMASS programme with a faunistic inventory and study of the benthos of the fishing grounds, research and study of lithodes and fish to complete the biological and ecological analysis and to evaluate the stocks, trophic relations and environmental conditions in the fishing areas, evaluation of pollution (metals, pesticides) in the waters surrounding the Crozet Islands.
