| Objective | The SATIR-DYNATLANT programme is concerned with studies of the physical, chemical and biological processes associated with the existence of well-marked thermal fronts on the western British continental shelf. The SATIR-DYNATLANT 2 cruise was conducted to study the phenomenon during the stable period when the front is well established. This cruise involved Noroit and Pelagia vessels in the Iroise Sea in the summer 1982 in a well-coordinated work programme. |
