Objective The HalioRade 1 cruise surveys had 2 main objectives: (1) providing additional information about the characterization of marine habitats in very shallow waters in the bay of Camaret, in the frame of the benthic monitoring network (REBENT/Brittany), and (2) ensure station-based monitoring of the Rozegat maerl bed in the bay of Brest (maerl monitoring - WFD). The geographic boundaries of the two study zones were as follows: Bay of Camaret: North: 48°19'N South: 48°16'N West: 4°36'W East: 4°34'W and Bay of Brest - Le Bindy bank: North: 48°20'N South: 48°18'N West: 4°24'W East: 4°21'W. This falls under the REBENT project.
