Objective The first mission scheduled in the framework of the ANR's AMANDES project aimed to retrieve 3 moorings, deploy 4 to take physical oceanography measurements on the continental shelf at the mouth of the Amazon, as well as water samples in rosettes to be analyzed on board or later in the laboratory for geochemical and isotopic tracers to characterize the influence of the river's waters on the biogeochemistry of the open Atlantic Ocean This falls under the ANR BLANCHE, AMANDES project.
