Objective The SEDYMAQ mission's objective was to collect new geophysical (bathymetry, sidescan sonar, sediment sounder) and sedimentological (samples) data at the study sites of the North Aquitaine shelf where surveys were made regularly in the 1980s and 90s. The comparative analysis of these data, which is part of the RELIEF PROJECT (CNRS-INSU), aims to assess the decennial trends of surface sediment bodies present on these study sites.
