Objective This international cruise is part of survey and inventory programmes of the main stocks of herring and gadidae coordinated by ICES in the North Sea. In the rectangles allocated to France for the cruise, juvenile gadidae (Group I) and young herring are randomly sampled. The search for juvenile gadidae is extended to the West of Scotland under a bilateral agreement.
