Objective Study project entitled "Armorican Escarpments" whose major objective is the understanding and definition of the stratigraphy of the northern margin of the Bay of Biscay. The objectives of "MARMOR" are the following: mapping of the northern margin of the Bay of Biscay, bathymetric surveys of the future dive sites of the CYANA saucer (CYGOGNE cruise), photography of outcrop areas, bathymetric surveys of the future IPOD drilling areas, heat flow measurements. This cruise follows other cruises on the Armorican margin: GEOGAS, MARGAS, GEOMANCHE.
