Objective This cruise follows on from SEAFER I in 1978, in the context of recognition work carried out by CEPM on passive continental margins. It is focused on the study of the "deep-sea fan" at the mouth of the Cap Ferret and Cape Breton canyons in the Bay of Biscay. Understanding these deep-sea fans is of primary importance to the study of oil reservoirs. This cruise is complementary to the one conducted by the MPCC on the vessel "Résolution". Cruise carried out by the company COFREPÊCHE (Brest).
