Objective Structural study of the Walvis Ridge whose origin is poorly known: in particular, to better understand the contribution of fracture zones to the geometry of the ridge and to recognize other fossil structures of the Mid-Oceanic Ridge. In addition, the cruise aimed to contribute to the definition of the drilling sites planned in the framework of IPOD. The different scientific objectives of the cruise: see cruise report.
