Objective | Measurements were taken at the ocean surface at of air-sea exchanges on a cruise to validate the CAROLS L-band radiometer mounted on the ATR42. Drifting buoys were deployed to study currents on the Aquitaine shelf. Temperature, salinity, atmospheric pressure and wind were measured in the south east of the Bay of Biscay. This is related to the SMOS/CAROLS projects in CNES's TOSCA. |
