| Objective | Collection of live cuttlefish taken in the natural environment by trawling. This enables animals to be obtained at stages of development and periods of the year which cannot be done by catching them in pots. The cuttlefish are then held in an aquarium and their behaviours are observed under various conditions in order to evaluate their capacity in terms of behavioural malleability or adaptation of these species as a function of their stage of development and sex. |
