| Objective | This cruise follows on from the 1972 and 1973 cruises, and is intended to develop the pelagic trawl herring fishery in particular. It will enable to monitor the evolution of the herring stock off the Magdalen Islands and the west coast of Newfoundland, and to search for herring shoals located in the southern Banquereau region. |
