Objective Study of the circulation in the intertropical Atlantic with special study of the South Equatorial Countercurrent (CCSE) and a branch of this current between the equatorial sub-current (known as the "Lomonosov sub-current") and the CCSE. This south-equatorial counter-current crosses the Atlantic from west to east, and the problems to be studied are: the region of origin of these currents, the possibility of several branches, the origin of the water masses, the extension of the maximum tropical salinity and transport.
