| Objective | The CINECA cruise has two main axes: Research for a representation, as synoptic as possible, of the hydrobiological structure in the three dimensions of space; Study of the laws of population development observed according to the main physico-chemical parameters of the environment, in order to better understand the functioning of ecosystems. The first part of the cruise included a preliminary prospecting phase aimed at geographically locating coastal upwelling sites in relation to the oceanic offshore region (stations 1 to 27). Stations in zones A (stations 27-63), B (stations 64-107) and C (stations 108-119) were also carried out during the first period and those in zone D (stations 120-162) during the second part. The cruise ended with a radial perpendicular to the coast at the IMSOUANE point (stations 163 to 175) in order to study the evolution of the source and the hydrological upwelling structure since the beginning of the cruise. |
