Objectif

Les objectifs de la campagne ERODER2 étaient de réaliser des levés bathymétriques et d'imagerie plus haute résolution que les levés EM12 réalisés pendant la campagne FOREVER sur le système turbiditique de Cilaos et ses homologues, d'échantillonner les différents corps sédimentaires identifiés depuis 2006 avec un carottier à piston de 10-15m, de finir de cartographier certains monts sous-marins et de les échantillonner au moyen de dragues, d'étendre le levé vers le Sud et la ride océanique fossile du Bassin des Mascareignes.
