Objective Studying the formation of dense water off the George V coast, to the west of the Mertz glacier polynya. Hydrology (CTD-02) on the shelf offshore from George V Land - Feasibility testing of a mooring in Commonwealth Bay. The related projects were ALBION (IPEV #452- LEFE-IDAO - IPY #585).
