Objective

Piggy-backing on the transit between Cape Town and Punta Arenas. Sediment sampling at a strategic site characterized by a high rate of sedimentation located at the junction between the Southern Atlantic and the South Ocean. Working in collaboration with R. Gersonde and A. Mackensen (AWI, Germany).
