Summary of measurements |
- -In situ and continuous atmospheric measurements of gas compounds (OH, O3, NO, CO, CO2, NMHC, VOC, etc.) and continuous measurement of dissolved gas compounds (CO, NMHC) in seawater.
-In situ and continuous measurement of aerosols (chemical composition, optical properties). -Meteorological parameters measured (radiosoundings, basic weather parameters, radiation) and the measurements monitored. -Continuous surface measurements (T, S, pCO2, TA, TCO2 and fluorimetry) and discrete surface measurements (one sample every 4h: S, Chl-a, dC13). -Measurements of atmospheric pCO2 (one measurement/7h). -Air samples taken to measure CO2, d13C, d18O, N2O, CH4 and SF6. -ADCP current measurements and dredging with two particle-trap moorings. -CASQ core sampling on site at 44°09.20 S, 14°13.69 W (3770 m): MD07-3076 and core sampling on the same site: MD07-3077 (Measuring the sediment's physical properties using the MST Geotek bench, conditioning of sediment). -Deployment of two CARIOCA buoys (put into operation on 23 January - deployed on 27 January 2007) -Collecting aerosols (mineral dust) / Method used: high volume pumping of air at the top of the mast and particle impaction using a multistage impactor (sampling medium was Vaseline-coated polyester).
