Objective

Participating in the "Existing status" work package of the EXTREME project: presenting shipboard video and network installations. Tests were run on the various telecommunication services available on board (IP telephony, analog telephony, video-conferencing, video coding and broadcasting, etc.) in terms of operability and quality of service. Test on the sub-bottom profiler's data acquisition software: this new software was developed in collaboration with the IPSIS company and was implemented while in transit. The trials aimed to validate the full operability of the software. Ocean circulation: 2 instruments were moored during the cruise: an inverted echosounder and an ADCP. Data acquisitions were made with the ADCPs of R/V Pourquoi pas? (38 and 150 kHz) continuously during the cruise.
