Objective Broadband seismometers and electromagnetic sensors were deployed for 1 year on the Lucky Strike segment of the Mid Atlantic Ridge in order to acquire imagery of the mantle and demonstrate the feasibility of observatories based on instruments deployed from a boat. The second broadband seismometer was deployed between the Lucky Strike site and Sao Miguel island to test the feasibility of imagery with the ambient noise of the marine environment. The seismometers were deployed with current meters beside them to study the influence of bottom currents on the measurements. These were part of a series of 3 consecutive deployments to have a bottom station for 3 years in a row. We also deployed 4 short-period ocean bottom seismometers for a seismicity study and took CTD casts to purse the GRAVILUCK project.
